So you have decided as a couple to invest in your marriage. Wonderful! You will not regret it. Here's what's next. Step One: Email us at dknappen@gmail.com and let us know that you would like to begin this journey. We will send you Drs. John and Julie Gottman's assessment questionnaires. They are very thorough. Your answers to these questions will assist us in discerning your marriage strengths and weaknesses. We will also send you disclosures that you must sign in order for us to counsel you. Those disclosures protect both of us, you the counselees, and us the counselors. Once you have answered all the questions and signed the disclosures, we will score them for you.

Step two: Schedule a visit to our office. The appointment calendar for available openings will be posted on this website, but appointments must be made via email. Once the assessments have been scored and the disclosures are signed, we can begin. Our first session will be spent getting to know one another, developing trust and hearing from you what you hope to accomplish through our sessions together.
